The following Sustainability Policies are the framework that guides the ethical, environmental, and cultural management of Paseo Vallenato Tour. They integrate three axes: “environmental and regeneration, social/inclusion/accessibility and child protection, cultural heritage and governance” and are built with the regeneration of the territory, the well-being of the communities, and the responsible enjoyment of visitors in mind. These policies are recommended to be kept aligned with relevant national and international standards and best practices (for example: NTC 6654 on accessible tourism, NTC 6725 on sustainability requirements for destinations, Law 679 of 2001 on protection against the sexual exploitation of minors, the MinAmbiente Green Business Program and regenerative tourism guides/GSTC).
Environmental and Regeneration Policy
"Roots that Regenerate"
"Roots that Regenerate"
At Paseo Vallenato Tour, we believe that tourism should not only conserve, but also regenerate the life of ecosystems. Our experiences integrate environmental restoration actions, carbon footprint reduction and the elimination of single-use plastics, as well as promoting the circular economy and responsible consumption. We are committed to leaving each place better than we found it, planting native species, protecting biodiversity, and working with local communities and environmental authorities on regeneration plans that connect nature, culture and visitors.

Social Policy, Inclusion, Accessibility and Child Protection - "We Grow Together"
"We Grow Together"
At Paseo Vallenato Tour, we promote safe, inclusive and accessible tourism that protects children, fosters gender equity, generates decent employment for women, youth and people with disabilities, and respects human rights. We apply protocols against child exploitation (Law 679 of 2001), we promote local hiring, and we guarantee accessible tourism experiences for all, eliminating physical, sensory and cognitive barriers, in compliance with NTC 6654. Our commitment is to a tourism that opens up opportunities, strengthens communities and celebrates diversity with collective well-being.
Cultural Heritage, Governance and Transparency Policy - "Living Memory"
"Living Memory"
The heart of our proposal is the Vallenato cultural heritage and the ancestral knowledge that gives identity to the territory. We are committed to protecting and disseminating these expressions in a responsible manner, with informed consent and fair compensation to artists and cultural bearers. Our contents and experiences are co-created with the communities, respecting sacred knowledge and avoiding its misuse. Furthermore, we promote participatory governance and transparency, publishing sustainability reports and participating in certifications and audits that strengthen responsible management.
Together, these policies reflect our purpose: tourism that regenerates nature, cares for people, is accessible to all, and celebrates culture, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national and international sustainability standards.
