Safety Recommendations for Day Trips or Travel.
- For safety, do not forget your identification and social security documents.
- Bring appropriate, comfortable, and loose-fitting clothing, a swimsuit, and a towel (if you wish to swim in the river).
- Important: closed-toe sports shoes, comfortable and preferably non-slip, to walk the trails and prevent accidents.
- Use sunscreen, an umbrella, caps, and/or sunglasses.
- Don’t forget your cell phone or camera, fully charged.
- Please inform us in advance if you are vegetarian or vegan (bring snacks of your choice).
- Do not leave personal belongings unattended.
- Inform us of any allergies (medications, food, cold water, sun).
- Bring cash in Colombian pesos to purchase souvenirs and tips.
- As a precaution, don’t forget insect repellent.
- Respect indigenous cultures (Kogis, Wiwas, Arhuacos, and Kankuamos).
- During hikes, do not separate from the group and always follow the Guide’s recommendations.
- Enjoy the natural environment, respecting biodiversity (Flora and Fauna).
- Do not litter along the route; avoid using slow-degrading packaging materials. Use more environmentally friendly materials.

Applies to overnight stays in rural and urban accommodations

- During hikes, stay with the group and follow the guide’s instructions.
- Respect indigenous cultures (Kogis, Wiwas, Arhuacos, and Kankuamos).
- Respect biodiversity (flora and fauna).
- Notify us in advance if you are vegetarian or vegan (bring your preferred snacks).
- Inform us of any allergies (medications, food, cold water, sun).

- Bring Colombian pesos in cash to buy souvenirs, organic products, backpacks, tips, etc.
