Privacy Policy

The privacy and trust of our clients are very important to us. Accordingly, we present our policy to safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of their personal data, in compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, which lays down provisions for the protection of personal data and Decree 1377 of 2013, which regulates the aforementioned law.

To comply with the commercial and mercantile activity of Paseovallenato Tour, located at Carrera 18 # 14 – 33, Office 303 in the city of Valledupar (Cesar – Colombia), email: [email protected], it is necessary to collect certain personal and sensitive data from clients.

 

TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data provided by clients or business partners will be collected and handled for the following purposes:

  • Sustain contractual relationship
  • Carry out all activities related to the provision of offered products or services.
  • Communicate changes in services
  • Marketing and sale of our products and services.
  • Send, by electronic means, information of a technical, operational and commercial nature about currently and future offered products and services.
  • Develop studies and programs that are necessary to determine consumption habits.
  • Conduct marketing studies and/or business intelligence
  • To fine-tune security filters and business rules in commercial transactions.
  • Manage, record and update the payment history of the products or services rendered and effect the respective positive and negative records in financial information centers.
  • Evaluate the satisfaction of our clients and respond to complaints and claims they make.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of our products and services in order to improve their quality.

Paseovallenato Tour reserves the right to modify this policy in order to adapt it to legislative or jurisprudential developments and good practices in the tourism sector. In such cases, changes will be announced before they are put into practice.

 

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS

The data subjects, either directly or through their representative and/or appointee or heir, may exercise the following rights with respect to the personal data that are subject to processing by Solera Viajes.

 

RIGHT OF ACCESS: Through which you may access the personal data that are under the control of Paseovallenato Tour, for the purpose of consulting them free of charge at least once every calendar month, and each time there are substantial modifications to the Data Treatment Policies that motivate new consultations.

 

RIGHT TO UPDATE, RECTIFY AND DELETE: Through which you may request the update, rectification and/or deletion of the personal data subject to processing, in such a way that the purposes of the processing are satisfied. This right may be exercised, among others, with respect to partial, inaccurate, incomplete, fragmented, misleading data, or those whose processing is expressly prohibited or has not been authorized. The request for deletion, modification of the information must be sent from the email of the holder to the email [email protected], duly accrediting their identity digitally, with their personal email account. The request for deletion of the information shall not proceed: i) When the holder has a legal or contractual duty to remain in the database, ii) When the deletion of data hinders judicial or administrative proceedings linked to tax obligations, the investigation and prosecution of crimes or the updating of administrative sanctions. iii) When the data are necessary to protect the legally protected interests of the holder; to carry out an action in the public interest, or to fulfill a legally acquired obligation by the holder.

 

RIGHT TO REQUEST PROOF OF AUTHORIZATION: except in those events in which, according to the current legal regulations, authorization is not required to carry out the treatment; in accordance with what is foreseen in article 10 of Law 1581 of 2012.

  • Right to be informed about the use of personal data.
  • Right to file complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce: for violations of the provisions in the regulations on the processing of personal data.
  • Right to request compliance with orders issued by the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce.

PARAGRAPH FIRST: For the purposes of exercising the rights described above, both the data subject and the person representing them must demonstrate their identity and, if applicable, the capacity in which they represent the data subject.

PARAGRAPH SECOND: The rights of minors will be exercised through the persons authorized to represent them.

PARAGRAPH THIRD: If you provide personal information about a person other than yourself, such as your spouse or a colleague, we understand that you have the authorization of that person to provide us with their data.

 

EFFECTIVE DATE

This personal data treatment policy comes into effect as of November 2015. The period of validity of the collected data will end when the information holder wishes the deletion of the same and does not go against the aforementioned. Any changes that occur in the policy will be informed by email.
