HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL TOUR OF THE CITY
Route: Making stops and taking photographs. Visit the emblematic sites of the city of Valledupar. Plaza Alfonso López Pumarejo and its founding history, colonial alleys and their murals, open-air urban art along the heritage avenue, Park of the Juglares and La Provincia, a creative and musical space, contemplate the Guatapurí River and its legends, the tutelary Cerro Murillo that saw Valledupar conquered, the contemporary pink zone. City tour of the government palace, cultural center of Vallenata music, modern cathedral with cultural stained glass windows of the region.
- ACCORDION MUSEUM: Visit to the Accordion Museum, the only cultural space of the Andean region in Latin America, interpreted by its own author, a contemporary juggler, where the origin of the accordion, Vallenata music and its culture are known.
- MUSICAL WELCOME: Live accordion group, performance and expertise where folklore is felt and experienced; brotherhood of its jugglers and singers in the Vallenato country, unique in this region.
VALLENATO AND ANCESTRAL TALE
Between VALLEDUPAR AND PATILLAL, 32 km. The landscapes typical of the region are enjoyed, the land of the brotherhood of Vallenata singing and poetry; places that are sources of inspiration for its inhabitants and neighboring villages. Interpretive visit to the Park of the Composers, the first glyptotheca of composers of the Colombian Caribbean and a tour of houses with folk architecture inhabited by living legends.
- LA MINA: 17 km from Patillal: Kankuama village that represents the ancestral territory, commercial place between Wiwa indigenous people and provincials, contemplation and enjoyment of the Badillo River Spa, a sacred place and inspiration for emblematic songs, adorned by millennial rock masses and canyons.
- ATÁNQUEZ: 7 km from La Mina: Knowing the Kankuama capital is a valley at approximately 783 meters above sea level, where the tutelary hills that mark the limits of the ancestral world and the attractive orography of the Sierra Nevada are observed, cobblestone paths and pre-Columbian architecture. Ceremonial centers that confirm the knowledge.
